♻️ Reducing our environmental impact is a journey, and every year we take the time to evaluate the steps we've taken and assess the road still ahead.
The M.S.Ambrogio Carbon Footprint 2024 Report reflects positive progress, with direct emissions under the company’s control accounting for only 9% of the total.
Last year, we set the goal of making a tangible #impact on the reduction of indirect emissions—and so we did!
💯 The most striking figure is the 100% reduction in indirect emissions related to energy consumption. This has been achieved through the purchase of electricity exclusively from certified renewable sources with guarantees of origin.
Other important key results, compared to the 2021 baseline year, include:
• -24% of CO2 overall emissions
• -10% indirect emissions related to downstream transportation and distribution of goods
• -46% indirect emissions from waste disposal
