After celebrating our Family Day together in Italy, last week our group executives traveled to Salach, Germany, for the annual in-person session of the Corporate Steering Committee, which this year was held at the SPRINGFIX Befestigungstechnik GmbH plant. Unlike the quarterly online meetings, this in-person gathering proved to be a valuable opportunity to exchange ideas, share experiences, and best practices, with the aim of fostering alignment, exploring new solutions in response to the evolving global economic landscape, and strengthening our collective expertise. It all began with a hole in the wall.
Twenty-year-old Aurelio Sangalli, working as an engraver in Milan, had a sudden insight: he realized that mass-producing even simple metal components could be far more profitable than his current work.
Sharing the idea with his family, he found effective support from his father Mario and brother-in-law Luigi. After acquiring their first machine tool, they were faced with an unexpected challenge: it wouldn’t fit in their home. Undeterred, they knocked a hole in the wall, making room not just for the machine, but for their new venture. It was the first step in breaking barriers and embracing the innovative spirit that still defines our company.
Today, that very machine stands proudly in our reception area, a powerful reminder of how a young man’s vision, family support, and out-of-the-box thinking sparked the journey that built our Group.

At M.S.Ambrogio, we operate from our main site in Cisano Bergamasco and also from a 6,000-square-meter facility in Chignolo d'Isola, staffed by 60 of our dedicated colleagues.
This plant, in addition to supporting the general production of our company with a wide array of processes and machineries, is also specialized in the production of stacked laminations used as #magnetic cores.
Electrical steel strips, made of an iron-silicon alloy with special magnetic properties, are used for manufacturing these components, that are vital for applications demanding precise electromagnetic field control, including electric motors and other advanced #electrical systems.
This is a highlight of our production, which combines technical expertise, experience, and a constant pursuit of innovative and high-performance components.

📈💡 Over the past year, we have observed a significantly positive trend in the number of students applying for internships at M.S.Ambrogio.
In almost 12 months, we have had the pleasure of hosting around 50 students from various fields of study, including Engineering, Economics, Languages, and Technical Institutes.
We take each internship request very seriously, striving to align each student’s field of study and personal aspirations with our company’s activities. This approach allows us to create a tailor-made #experience for any student. In addition, each intern is paired with a dedicated mentor who guides and supports her/him throughout the time with the company. This personalized #mentoring ensures that students gain valuable practical knowledge and skills, giving them a true insight into working within a global manufacturing company like ours.

🆕🛫This week marks the kickoff of the remote technical assistance project among the group's companies.
A team of our technicians, thoroughly trained in the activation and automation process of assistance requests, has traveled to Hungary to train colleagues at Springfix Hungary Kft. and to set up equipment for remote video assistance and multilingual voice translation.
This solution, carefully designed by our Continuous Improvement team, will enable M.S.Ambrogio to swiftly address any technical issues that arise in the group's facilities, significantly reducing travel time and costs.
In addition, the use of #AI software will eliminate potential language barriers, ensuring effective understanding and providing the opportunity for ongoing training.
Well done to our team for their outstanding efforts.
